Inspired by the transformative growing process in plants, particularly the cactus plant, Zhaoran aims to bridge the connections bewtween nature and jewellery.

Using a combination of silicone rubber, clay and polymorph, she creates bulbous structures with prickly strands to represent qualities found in the cactus plant.
